The AYSO ACADEMY program is designed to enhance development of U8/U7/U6 age players. It is intended for players interested in advanced training and for players to get an introductory travel soccer experience. To participate in AYSO Academy, players must be actively participating within the AYSO Core U8 and U6 divisions. Although the program has higher expectations of its players, the ACADEMY program embraces AYSO's Six Philosophies and promotes a positive and fun soccer experience.

• ACADEMY plays in the local WMYSA (West Michigan Youth Soccer Association) Academy program with other local clubs in Southwest Michigan.
• Season: 
  • Fall season: September through October
  • Spring season: April through 1st week in June
• Jamborees (games): 6 jamborees per season
• Games: 2 to 3 20-minute games with 5-10 min breaks between games per jamboree
• Players: Coed U6 (2020), U7 (2019), U8 (2018)
• When: 6 Sundays from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
• Where: Southwest Michigan (typically the Kalamazoo area)
• Practices: One 1-to-1.5-hour practice weekly in addition to your AYSO Core practices
